Alupicket has always looked for new product lines, and has recently developed an aluminium staircase with Balau treads.

The idea originated from the large number of external wooden staircases that required continual maintenance in the form of painting, and often need replacement after less than 5 years, due to wood rot or termite infestation.

The Alupicket staircase is custom made for each application, and offers an aesthetically pleasing structure not unlike a timber structure, but with major advantages due to the lack of maintenance required.

Our staircase makes use of our own personal aluminium sections, many of which have been designed in conjunction with structural engineers.
